Nordicomics

Nordicomics on Soome Koomiksiseltsi poolt korraldatud projekt. Selle projekti raames viiakse läbi töötubasid ja näitusi, toomaks esile uusi paljulubavaid Põhjamaadest pärit kunstnikke. Esimene Nordicomics’i näitus ja töötuba peeti Helsingi 2009. aasta augustis. 2010. aastal tuuritas projekt ringi Oslos, Stockholmis, Kopenhaagenis ja Peterburis.

Nordicomics is a project organized by the Finnish Comics Society. The project manages workshops and exhibition that showcase promising new artists from the Nordic countries. the first Nordicomics exhibition and workshop were held in Helsinki on August 2009. In 2010 the project toured in Oslo, Stockholm, Copenhagen and St. Petersburg.

Kids Comics in Estonia

Näitus esitleb lastekoomikseid kümnelt Eesti kunstnikult, kes on kõik väga erineva stiili ja väljendusviisiga. Osa koomiksitest on loodud spetsiaalselt näituse jaoks ja mõned neist on juba varem lasteväljaannetes avaldatud.

The exhibition presents children’s comics from ten Estonian artists that all approach their subject in very different ways. Some of the comics are created specially for the exhibition and some have been published before in children’s publications.

100 Years of Finnish Comics

See näitus tähistab Soome koomiksikunsti 100. aastapäeva. Näitus esitleb selle kunstivormi mitmekesisust ja ulatust Soomes, näidates koomiksikaraktereid alates 1910ndatest kuni tänase päevani.

The exhibition commemorates the 100th anniversary of Finnish comics. The exhibition puts on display the diversity and scope of the art form in Finland by presenting comics characters from the 1910s up to the present.
